Dogu is probably the most charming artifacts from Jomon period. Especially this dogu, so called “the venus of Jomon” is full of cuteness. Dogu is thought as the incarnated form of pray of Jomon people—it should be one of the goddess of fertility. These clay figurines which shaped roundy women are found in not only Japan but also all over the world
